Day 11, December 11th. My very first time singing in Latin (and yes, there was one mistake in the song, did you spot it?). ‘Quem Pastores Laudavere’ (transl. ‘He Whom The Shepherds Praised’) is a German carol written in the 14th century, long before the Reformation – meaning that the language of the Christian church of the era would have been Latin.
