P-TAL: Transforming Traditions into Trends
P-TAL (Punjabi Thathera Art Legacy) aims at reviving the age old traditions of using brass, copper and kansa utensils which are known to be beneficial for your health by Ayurveda. This is done by combining modern designs with traditional art of Thatheras who practise India’s only UNESCO listed craftform.
P-TAL aims to bring back people to the rich old traditions redefined in a modern way, so that people make the ‘right’ choices, and not the easy ones.
A brass saucepan is a vessel with a capacity of 1 liters & 2 liters, designed for heating and cooking various types of sauces, soups, and liquids.
Brass saucepans are made from a combination of copper and zinc, offering excellent heat conductivity and even heat distribution, which allows for precise temperature control during cooking.
The brass material of the saucepan provides durability and longevity, making it a reliable choice for long-term use in the kitchen.
Brass & copper being good conductor of heat, when used as cookware helps you save gas. They are a smart step towards sustainability.
It can be difficult to see the ageing of metal but that is the sign of purity! This product can be washed normally like other utensils. A day in an entire week can be kept for special cleaning incase needed. Pitambari powder, which is easily available in the market, can be applied to the products and rinsed off with water to give them a shiny look. Feel free to use household sour elements like a mixture of tamarind+salt or a mixture of wheat+vinegar/lime+salt, if pitambari is not available.
