YOM KIPPUR 🕊️ Day of Atonement
✨ Today is the holiest day of the year according to the scriptures.
All across Israel, people are fasting, praying and gathering in the synagogues.
❕One of the famous prayers sung tonight is ‘Adon Ha’Slichot’ (The Lord of Forgiveness).
His name is proclaimed as one that knows and search’s the heart, the one who reveals what is deeply unseen and speaks righteously.
🗣️ We join in asking the Lord to cleanse us from our sins and purify us from our iniquity so that we may stand before a Holy God.
🙏🏽 We pray for the spirit of grace and supplication to be poured out upon every Jewish man and women on this day of atonement.
Would you open their eyes so that they may look upon the one whom they have pierced.
