Requirement : A USB-C charger or charging bank with 45W 15V3A output is required. Female USBC charging cables must also be able to carry 3A current. Be sure that your USBC charger is rated at 15V/3A. The cable was not supported by some PD chargers, and it wasn’t supported by most phone chargers. Troubleshooting: 1- When the LED flashes, your charger does not have enough power. The USB-C charger should be 15V3A and 45W or higher. 2- Chargers with less than 45W or 15V output will not work: Most phone chargers and pad chargers will not work with this cable. A1718, A1719, A1540, A1882 are older Macbook chargers that do not meet the requirements. 3- Attempt a different 15V/3A 45W charger if the LED does not light up. Charging only: In this product, data and HDMI cannot be transmitted; only surface devices can be charged. Each unit is inspected and tested prior to shipment. Compatibility: Microsoft Surface pro7/6/5/4/3, Surface Laptop1/2/3, Surface Book1, Surface Go1/2/3. The cable is compatible with Surface Pro 8, but due to technical limitations, you will see a message “Slow charging cable is connected”.
