The Blessing (Galilee Version) – Jew & Arab – Middle-Eastern Instrumental
We are delighted to upload this new unique musical video, that was birthed
through a joint initiative and labor of four very talented Israeli musicians, a
Messianic Jew, Leat Sabbah (cello) and 3 Christian Arabs, the Sakhnini Brothers
(Yazeed on arabic violin and riq, Elia on oud, Adeeb on piano). They fused
together their Arab and Jewish roots to create a middle-eastern-inspired
instrumental version of the American worship song “The Blessing” (Kari Jobe).
“The Blessing” is based around the High Priest’s (Aaron) blessing, which
proclaims Peace-Shalom over the people (Numbers 6:23-26). This instrumental
music collaboration marks a mutual desire for a peaceful and blessed existence, in
a very unpeaceful and turmoil world and region!
This endeavor has been sponsored by the Messianic Jewish Alliance of Israel.
