Michael English, a distinguished American Christian music artist, commenced his career at a young age and rose to prominence in the gospel music arena. Born in Kenansville, North Carolina, English began singing with the Happy Goodman Family when he was just a teenager. Later, he became a vital part of the Gaither Vocal Band, showcasing his exceptional vocal range and artistry.
As the lead singer for the Gaither Vocal Band in the late ’80s, Michael English helped popularize modern Southern gospel.
